I know this ad campaign, I was impressed by it over a year ago. It makes an impact even as a "cartoon," I'd like to see it go somewhere.

Adam Klugman is really good. We need to find a way to make this ad campaign a reality.

Love the spot and especially love the slogan.

    Long live the :60!

A lot of consultants love contrast ads -- which have their place -- but struggle to produce positive spots that aren't trite or sleep-inducing. Adam actually tells a story -- not just a laundry list of "issues" -- in a way that packs an emotional punch. And I love the pacing and rhythm, especially the visual drumbeat at the end.

    Nice work, Adam!

It was light handed and even. It is so new Democrat. I like that you go with your strengths. You should run with it!

I heard this spot on KPOJ this morning, and it literally brought tears to my eyes and a lump to my throat. It was probably the most moving inspiring thing I have heard in a long time. This spot really says it, this expresses why I am a Progressive. Why I am a Democrat, even though I'm not happy with the leadership of the Democratic party right now. The words of this ad filled me with a renewed sense of Hope and a feeling of Yes! That's it EXACTLY!

Now if only we could get this message out all over the country...

I remember when this video was shown at the Washington County Dems meeting last year. This really needs to get on TV.

and yet, the piece is "partisan" -- it represents one political party. and this is what is good about partisan: you stand in solidarity with fellow citizens who share (many of) your beliefs, goals and objectives. you have a purpose to your political activities beyond getting bodies elected. you have a standard under which you can mobilize, a platform on which you can unite.

partisanship is not about separating people; it's about the opportunity for people to come together and work for common goals. i love that this ad speaks for the Democratic Party, and not some amorphous group of right-thinking Americans. this ad says so much about why i am a Democrat. hooray for Adam Klugman.

Maybe the DNC should use that as part of a pitch to get this spot on the air: contribute X and get a chance to be part of a national party branding campaign. A drawing for 15 seconds of political fame!
