Astoria city DUII cases: What will happen now?
Marquis said he is hoping to work with the city once the order is signed because “this argument has gone on way too long, in my opinion.”
Henningsgaard said he hopes Marquis will work with the city, as well.
“Well I am certainly pleased that the judge agreed with me, that the cases should stay in Municipal Court,” Henningsgaard said. “I continue to feel this is a terrible waste of taxpayers’ money and a real abuse of judgment by the district attorney, but it is what it is.”
