'Grange' casino sides reach temporary name deal

Developers of a proposed privately operated Wood Village casino can use their preferred name "The Grange" for the project — At least for now.

The National Grange of the Order of Patrons of Husbandry, which had considered filing a lawsuit over the name, and the Clairvest development group have forged a deal that will allow the developers to use the name "The Grange" until after the November election.

At that point, Oregon voters will have decided whether the group can build the non-tribal casino…
