Oregon House Democrats claim Republicans favor 30 percent sales tax; GOP cries foul
Campaign mailers sent to voters last week in three competitive districts claim Republican candidates are backed by Americans for Prosperity, whose members have espoused support for a national sales tax to replace the federal income tax, and so that means the Oregon GOP candidates now have a plan to push a sales tax. The Oregon GOP calls the mailers put out by Future PAC a pack of lies.
