Oregon House passes Nike 'certainty' measure

Oregon's representatives have passed House Bill 4200, the so-called Nike "tax certainty" bill, by a 50-to-5 count.

The measure immediately went to the Senate for a likely vote late Friday afternoon.

Portland Democrats voting no included Lew Frederick, Alissa Keny-Guyer and Jefferson Smith. Astoria Democrat Carolyn Tomei and Keizer Republican Kim Thatcher also voted no.
