Kitzhaber offers praise -- and criticism -- for legislative budget plan

Gov. John Kitzhaber said he was happy Democratic legislative budget leaders proposed additional funding for schools, but he expressed doubts about whether they can find the votes to raise the additional tax revenue they are seeking. He also said they should cut more than they proposed out of the pension system.
