Rival Oregon tax and union ballot measures won't go forward, Gov. John Kitzhaber announces

Rival groups agreed Monday to drop several proposed ballot measures dealing with taxes and the operations of unions. Gov. John Kitzhaber, who brokered the deal, called it an "unprecedented moment" in the state's long history of ballot measure politics.
