Ore. regulator okays 17% ODS health insurance rate hike

The Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services approved a 17.54 percent annual increase for these individual health benefit plans instead of the 20.73 percent requested. The increase is intended to cover the projected rise in medical claims costs and the estimated cost of implementing benefit changes due to federal healthcare reform.
