Oregon inches toward non-prescription birth control

Portland Business Journal:

Oregon women soon may be able to purchase birth control directly from a pharmacist without a doctor's note, under a bill now headed to the Senate floor for a full vote.

The Senate Rules Committee approved House Bill 2879 on Thursday and sent it on to the Senate President's desk, where it awaits scheduling for a floor vote.
