Blumenauer calls on DEA to remove pot's 'controlled substance' stigma

Portland's U.S. Congressional representative has called on the federal government to reclassify or de-schedule marijuana under the Controlled Substances Act.

Rep. Earl Blumenauer did so as he praised Acting Drug Enforcement Administrator Chuck Rosenberg's statement that "heroin is more dangerous than marijuana."
