Why Monica Wehby had to cut short her visit with Jeb Bush
Dr. Monica Wehby, who tried unsuccessfully to unseat U.S. Sen. Jeff Merkley last year, was supposed to be meeting with Republican Presidential hopeful Jeb Bush.
Instead, she sat on a stage with four other panelists during the 2015 State of Reform Health Policy Conference at the Hilton Portland.
That is, she sat there for about 25 minutes before taking off early, so she could give the former Florida governor about 20 minutes of her time.
Wehby, a pediatric neurosurgeon, first shared a few thoughts.
