Washington governor must save Portland, Vancouver from giant oil terminal (OPINION)

The cities of Portland and Vancouver stand together in opposing the largest proposed oil terminal in North America. The Tesoro-Savage project would move 360,000 barrels (15 million gallons) of crude oil each day on trains, store oil in massive tanks along the Columbia River's shores and ship oil to foreign and domestic markets. The plan poses an unprecedented threat to the public health, safety and environmental integrity of our region.
