We've got some exciting news to share: This week we endorsed Kate Brown in her special election bid for Governor of Oregon. 

Kate made history in 2015 when she became the first openly bi governor in America – and the only openly LGBT governor anywhere in the country – following the resignation of her predecessor. Now, she's running in a special election to serve out the rest of the term.

Kate is one of a tiny handful of statewide LGBT officials, and it's critical that we keep her in office. Will you chip in with a contribution to the Victory Fund to help propel Kate and other LGBT leaders to victory?

Under her brief tenure, Oregon has become a model state for increased democratic participation and LGBT rights. Kate is one of the first governors in America to sign a ban on youth "conversion therapy" into law, and her administration has prioritized the enforcement of the state's LGBT nondiscrimination laws. 

Kate Brown is the governor Oregon needs.
