Mercury endorses Cornett for City Council

Portland Mercury:

the Portland Mercury endorsed challenger Jesse Cornett for City Council over incumbent Dan Saltzman and various challengers. the Merc cited Cornett's willingness to stand up to entrenched powers, including the Police union, and to fight for the needs of the mentally ill, the homeless and others marginalized and forgotten by elected officials too long in office.
