Oregon ranks last in public corruption

The Daily Beast ran a ranking of the states and D.C. according to their levels of corruption. Oregon ranked 35th. It was as low as it gets in the subcategory “public corruption,” 51st place. It was the state’s apparent problem with forgery and counterfeiting (we ranked 2nd) that pushed Oregon to the top of the bottom third in the overall ranking.
