Oregon close to landing $1.9B in health funds

Oregon is close to receiving a federal sign-off on its new coordinated care health care system.

Oregon Gov. John Kitzhaber, who met with Obama Administration officials this week, said the state has reached an agreement in principle to procure $1.9 billion for the program, which the state will use to manage Medicaid patients’ health care strategies.
