The PBA: Still in high gear after 10 years

Portland Business Journal:

It’s been 10 years since the Association for Portland Progress and the Portland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce merged. The resulting organization, which became the Portland Business Alliance, immediately became a political player that regularly makes the most lobbying visits to City Hall and, occasionally, rattles some cages.

In other words, the Alliance does what a city’s largest business lobby is supposed to do.

It’s been that way pretty much since the APP/Chamber merger...
