Cheney's new website

Jack Bogdanski

As you might expect, it's a little one-sided, but it's a surprisingly revealing window on the character of the Vice President. (WARNING: Extreme audio content on some computers.)

Note: if you are at work, especially if you sit rather close to your boss, turn down the speakers before clicking that link!

    Great link, though.

so here I am at home, on my best behavior because my wife's parents are here from Wisconsin to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with us.

I have had the lecture from my wife on the importance of me being home for dinner on time, being polite, not calling right wingers names that start with "F" and I pick up my lap top while everyone is having a nice after dinner conversation.

Excitedly, I see Jack B has posted and I click on the link.

My wife's parents stare at me as the foul language screams out of the speakers. I turn red. My wife looks at me like "I can't believe you are going to those kinds of sites with my parents in the room".

I know when I went into the other room my wife's parents were whispering "we knew it. We tried to warn you".

    Nice Job, Jack.

Randy: You're the second person who has commented on that. On my computer, there's no audio of any kind on that page. I have a new computer, and I don't have Real Player installed yet (because I hate Real Player) -- maybe that's why I don't hear it.

If I knew about the offensive soundtrack, I never would have linked to that page without a much more explicit warning.

The joke wasn't worth it! My sincere apologies.

Tell your in-laws it was a dirty trick that I played on you. If you wish, I'll even personally appear and beg their forgiveness on both our behalfs; it would give me an excuse to meet you in person.

Let me know when you've read this comment; after that, I'm going to see if I can pull that post entirely.

I would suggest not pulling it, but re-editing it to include a big, fat warning about potentially-offensive audio content.

Rule number one of blogging (well, my rule #1): Never delete, only add. Your mileage may vary.

    Revised warning added.
