Gov. Kulongoski, Gov. Granholm (MI) To Discuss Energy Independence This Thursday

From Daily Kos:

I want to make sure this community has a chance to listen in on a call the DGA has put together with Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm and Oregon Gov. Ted Kulongoski. This is a great opportunity to hear about America's energy future by focusing on how Democratic governors are leading the way toward energy independence.

Call time: Thursday, June 22nd at 1:45 p.m. EDT/10:45 a.m. PDT

You can RSVP and submit a question here.

Oooh, here's your chance to see the two most unpopular Democratic governors whose states weren't demolished by a hurricane last year. Better see them while you can...

Everytime Ted does something good for the environment it seems like the first response is to rebut it with some vacuous horse race comment. He's doing the right thing on energy independence and making Oregon a leader in reducing greenhouse gasses. Ted should be commended for the ambitious environmental goals he's setting. Guess that's just not as sexy as those poll numbers, eh?
