We listened to you.
We're still digging thru the reader survey results, but one thing we got loud and clear: The front page column was too narrow and cramped.
Of course, we were living within the 800 pixel wide space that was standard for many years. Now that there's only a few folks left with old monitors at that low resolution, many big-budget websites (like CNN, ESPN, DailyKos, etc.) have gone to 1000 pixels wide.
Also, the blogwire and the rest of the right sidebar is now on every interior page, too. Nice, eh?
