Netroots Night at the DPO
By now, you've heard lots of exhortations to go volunteer, to make phone calls, to knock on doors, to invest your sweat equity in the grassroots movement for change.
But if you've never volunteered, it can be a bit of an intimadating thing. "What if they hang up on me?" "What if someone asks me a question and I don't know the answer?" "What does it mean if they say they're voting for the Republican?"
Not to worry. Over at the DPO, Jenny Greenleaf - a blogger before she was our DNC Committeewoman - has organized an evening to make the entry into direct electoral activism easy, easy, easy.
Netroots Night at the DPO will be fun, it'll be easy, you'll meet new friends, and you'll make a critical difference in this campaign. Join your fellow BlueOregon contributors, commenters, and fans on Wednesday night from 5 to 9 p.m.
Call the Multnomah County Dems at 503-239-8646 to sign up.
Call now.

No, I don't think I'll be spending my birthday annoying people on the telephone, regardless of how good the cause. ;)

Although other people doing so might make an interesting set of photos. Hmm....
