Let's not be hasty in writing Hillary off
Paulie Brading
Is Hillary Clinton too old to run for president? We are already beginning to hear the debate about her age. She's proven she can handle one of the top stress producing jobs, right behind the president and the secretary of defense. Hillary will celebrate her 69th birthday on October 26th of that year. She would be younger than Reagan was when he was elected by nine months. Hillary's" favorable rating" is now the highest it has been at any point in her long public career (67%). Of course we can't talk about her age without mentioning that as a women she has a longer life expectancy than men.
As of February 7, 2013, 1 senator is in his 80's, 20 are in their 70's, 36 are in their 60's, 31 are in their 50's 11 are in their 40's, and one is in his 30's. The three oldest senators are Democrat Frank Lautenberg, age 89, D - Dianne Feinstein 79, R- Chuck Grassley 79.
In the 21st century we have not figured out how old old is. Age is a relative number that impacts different people in different ways. We don't yet know if Hillary Clinton is going to run for president in 2016. I hope she will run.
