Interview with Senator Mike Gravel
Local party activist Moses Ross has launched a podcast - and expects to regularly feature interviews with Democratic candidates, elected officials, and party activists.
For his inaugural podcast, Moses interviewed former US Senator Mike Gravel (D-Alaska) - an underdog candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination.

It's just an additional branch, for checks and balances. Like when Congress continue to aid the War effort, the People can vote and over-ride it.

The problem with the preceding is that a majority of the people played the role of the mob and supported the war party. That is one reason why politicians voted to give Bush a blank check to go to war. The majority were gullible enough to have bought into the lies.

Other than the faith Mike Gravel has in the people, I liked everyting he said. He noted that 15 million people opposed going to war but then said that the majority of politicians in Washington voted for war. That was because the majority of the people (all other adults less 15 million) at that time were ill-informed and gullible enough to believe the propoganda put out by the Bush administration and their accomplices in the mainstream media. There isn't much chance of Gravel being elected but if the choice is between Hillary and one of the Republicans other than Ron Paul, I'll probably write in Gravel - or Nader.
