Here, Here!!! Brendan is fast becoming my favorite political comic strip, which is to say they are'nt what they use to be. No slight on Mr. Deiz, just would be nice if we had a press we had, say when Nixon was President.

Hey Brendan, I liked the one you did last week of the Fat Cat claiming independence or something and then demanding a bailout, because there are too many examples of these phonies around. But let me suggest another cartoon in which you can show a progressive city council handing hundreds of millions of tax dollars to a couple of millionaire sports team owners so they could build a stadium here and move their team here.

Actually, you could do a whole book, like Matt Groening's work, called "Government in Hell". Bob's on to it. Made me think of one of a public servant at work, blogging away, complaining about waste and misuse of tax dollars in gov!
