Taking my turn in the dunk tank

Kari Chisholm

Normally, we don't talk about fundraisers here on BlueOregon - but this one is just too good to pass up. And besides, mentioning it to you is probably a bit of a public service.

I'll be the first to admit that, from time to time, I can get a little overheated here on the blog. Well, here's your chance to give me a cool-down.

On Sunday, at approximately 2:50 p.m., I'll be taking my turn in the dunk tank -- at Senator Wyden's Politics is a Carnival event.

Of course, if you'd rather take your shot at dunking State Rep. Jefferson Smith, he of the long-winded mellifluousness, well, Jeff will be taking shots at 1:30 p.m. And I won't even get into how many people surely are aiming to drop Josh Kardon in the water.

Here's the full lineup. Who are you looking forward to dunking?

  • 1:30 p.m. Rep. Jefferson Smith
  • 1:50 p.m. Trent Lutz, DPO
  • 2:10 p.m. Jesse Cornett, BlueOregon
  • 2:30 p.m. Ben Unger, Senate Dems
  • 2:50 p.m. Kari Chisholm, BlueOregon
  • 3:10 p.m. Josh Kardon, Wyden for Senate
  • 3:30 p.m. Jake Weigler, Wyden for Senate

The Wyden carnival is at Oaks Park from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday. $15/person. Family-friendly, lots of fun, etc. Get your tickets right here.

Full disclosure: My firm built Ron Wyden's campaign website. I speak only for myself.

Wyden is already "in the tank" for AIPAC, The Israel Project and 43 years of violations of international law.
