Kitzhaber to decide on interim AG next week

Oregon's governor will unveil his choice for the state's interim attorney general slot over the next seven days.

John Kitzhaber's spokeswoman Amy Wojcicki confirmed that Kitzhaber will release his decision next week as John Kroger formally announced he'll step down on June 29.

Kroger, who’d announced last year he wouldn’t seek a second term for undisclosed reasons, will begin his new job, as president of Reed College, on July 1.
