U.S. Rep. Schrader gets stalking order against Newport radio station owner

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — An Oregon judge has ordered a Newport radio station owner to stay away from U.S. Rep. Kurt Schrader and stop hounding him with emails and phone calls.Schrader says in court documents that 68-year-old Cheryl McAnally Harle thinks they have a romantic relationship and says she's bombarded him with messages: sending 800 emails in a little more than four months, for example.The Oregonian quotes a Schrader aide as saying the two had no social or business contact other than Schrader's appearances on her talk radio show a few times.The Oregonian reports she owns KCUP-AM and KPPT-FM. Calls to her home and business were not immediately returned.The stalking order was granted Tuesday by Judge Katherine Weber.
