State wants Frashour reinstated, Adams disagrees

Portland Business Journal:

The Oregon Employment Relations Board has ordered Portland to reinstate an officer who was involved in a high-profile January 2010 shooting.

Officer Ron Frashour, said the board, should return to work because the city violated state law by terminating him. Frashour shot and killed Aaron Campbell while answering a distress call at Campbell’s Northeast Portland home.

Portland Mayor Sam Adams immediately said he’ll encourage city commissioners to dispute the decision.
