Following Inouye's death, Wyden stays put as chair of energy committee

Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., is reportedly planning to take the chairmanship of the Senate Appropriations Committee following the death of Sen. Daniel Inouye, D-Hawaii. But Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., is apparently going to stick with chairing the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee instead of shifting to the top spot on the Intelligence Committee.
