Ore. Legislature: Session promises 'PERS-onality'

It’s a little less than a month before Oregon lawmakers gather in Salem for the state’s full annual session. Technically, senators and representatives will assemble on Jan. 14, begin organizing legislative efforts for a few weeks and then start considering the resulting bills on Feb. 4.

But for reporters, it’s high-story gathering season. I’m hoping to spend at least part of the next several weeks meeting with in-the-know Salem-centric types to discuss the fabric of the upcoming session.…
