Schrader and Bruun locked in close race for Oregon's 5th District seat

Oregon's 5th Congressional District is a misshapen mess of cities and stretches of rural land that demands a representative who can appeal to Democrats and Republicans alike.

Kurt Schrader and his challenger, Republican Scott Bruun, are both fighting for the center that controls the district.
