What an Internet sales tax would mean in sales tax-free Oregon

We already know how Oregon Sen. Ron Wyden feels about the Internet sales tax proposal making its way through the U.S. Senate. He hates it.

As Wyden told me earlier this week, the so-called Marketplace Fairness Act — which would require online retailers to collect a sales tax on purchases made by customers in other states — would place a "huge burden" on small businesses and, ultimately stifle growth.
