Clark County commission mimics Clackamas political revolution; is it now "Clarkistan?"
The new conservative majority on the Clark County commission attracted controversy this week by abruptly appointing state Sen. Don Benton, R-Wash., to the county's top environmental job. It was reminiscent of the upheaval accompanying the new conservative majority in Clackamas County.
