Timbers, Thorns join Wyden in fight against hunger

The Oregon Food Bank says it helps one in five households fend off hunger. It’s a team effort throughout the state and they are getting some heavyweight help. Senator Ron Wyden was joined by members of the Portland Timbers and Thorns soccer teams to help raise awareness about the need for continued donations to the Oregon Food Bank. “Hunger is not taking the summer off,” said Senator Wyden. “There are too many people hurting.”
