Kitzhaber: With no Oregon-led CRC deal by March 15, the new bridge is toast
Gov. John Kitzhaber has drawn an apparent line in the sand regarding Oregon’s willingness to build a new Columbia River Crossing.
Kitzhaber sent a letter to Oregon Senate President Peter Courtney and Speaker of the House Tina Kotek stating that the Oregon Department of Transportation would abandon the project unless Oregon lawmakers approve a CRC proposal during the state’s coming short session.
