Oregon's Ted Wheeler gets national nod for focus on savings

Portland Business Journal:

It's estimated that 53 percent of American households are at-risk of not having saved enough money to maintain their living standard in retirement.

Turning that around has been a priority for Oregon Treasurer Ted Wheeler, who on Monday was recognized as Elected Official of the Year by the National Conference on Public Employee Retirement Systems for his efforts to get more people saving.
