'Oregon-led' CRC bridge efforts die in Salem
Oregon's legislature will not approve a new Columbia River Crossing this year.
So said House Speaker Tina Kotek, who cited Washington Gov. Jay Inslee's "inability to provide "clear, public commitment" to the project. The proposal to fund the project with Oregon-administered tolling emerged during this year's short legislative session, set to end Friday.
