Wyden, Merkley push for faster drone rules

Several U.S. senators are throwing their hat into the ring in urging the Federal Aviation Administration to speed up the rule making for drones.

In a letter sent last week, lawmakers urged the FAA to expedite the process for developing rules for unmanned aerial systems — a process which is expected to culminate in a set of rules which could come out before the end of the year.
