AG Rosenblum: Kitzhaber resignation will not affect 'ongoing criminal investigation'

Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum joined the chorus of political and civic leaders reacting to Gov. John Kitzhaber's planned resignation noting in a statement that "Today is a sad day for Oregon."

Unlike most of those weighing in, though, Rosenblum will play a key role in Kitzhaber's future.

Her office earlier this week launched a criminal investigation into the governor and fiancée Cylvia Hayes. The governor also faces three ethics complaints.
