Governor Kate Brown: Key senator says change won't affect revenue reforms
The Oregon state senator who's aggressively working to reform the state's tax system said Wednesday morning he doesn't expect the gubernatorial change to redirect his efforts.
Sen. Mark Hass, a Beaverton Democrat, said legislative leaders continue to hammer out proposals that could solve Oregon's longstanding school funding woes.
Hass said a work group addressing the issue has winnowed down its list of proposals to "10 to 15 ideas."
