Scenes from the protest outside Nike's headquarters

While President Barack Obama was inside Nike's headquarters talking about the benefits of a proposed trans-pacific trade agreement, dozens of protesters were outside urging lawmakers to reject the notion.

The protesters also called for a more transparent process.

"I'm against any legislation or pacts that would export jobs out of America and take advantage of a race to the bottom," said Denise Reisner.

Many of the protesters gathered Friday morning were organized by the Oregon Fair Trade Campaign.…
