Treasurer Wheeler's plan to add 'billions of dollars to PERS'
Oregon Treasurer Ted Wheeler on Thursday said lawmakers should "think anew, and act anew" in light of the looming budget gap and pass a bill that he said would generate billions of dollars for the state's underfunded pension system for public workers.
