Wyden and Merkley: New drone rules will add jobs throughout Oregon

Oregon's U.S. senators said Thursday that new federal rules will cut red tape for unmanned aerial systems testing at three Oregon sites.

Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley said the decision could create jobs at test sites in Pendleton, Tillamook and Warm Springs. The duo had asked the Federal Aviation Administration to speed up approvals for UAS test permits.
