At Bob's Red Mill, Merkley, Cantwell demand renewal of program that's brought $1B to Oregon

A pair of Pacific Northwest U.S. Senators hit Bob's Red Mill on Friday as they called for Congress to reauthorize the Export-Import Bank.

Senators Jeff Merkley of Oregon and Maria Cantwell of Washington noted that investments from the Bank have helped Bob’s expand into new markets. The Export-Import Bank could expire June 30, which could halt investments into thousands of U.S. exporters that use the credit agency's services.

The two Democrats have led the fight for the Bank's long-term reauthorization.
