    It's about time Merkley did anything. Not re-electing Gordan Smith was a big big mistake. Merkyey has voted in lock step with his union owners ever since he was sworn into office. At least both he and Jeff Mapes realize that trying to act like tea party supported Brown is good for his reputation and career
