Articles of faith: Pew Study examines the religious roots of the Tea Party
The Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life released its study of the Tea Party today, looking at its religious influences and positions on a range of social issues.
Dan Gilgoff, co-editor of CNN's Belief Blog highlights key points of the study. Earlier this week, Gary Laderman, a religion professor at Emory University, described the "sacred distinctions" the Tea Party's made in the Wisconsin debate about public unions and bargaining rights.
