Times change, wars change, governors change. Oregonians have their hands full with issues at home, including a struggling economy and overwhelmed public budgets. Their new governor is quieter, more reserved, less emotional. But what hasn't changed is the obligation that everyone, from the governor on down, show the respect that all of us owe the men and women who serve this state and country, and sometimes give their lives.
