Wheeler report cast doubt on Columbia bridge project
A report issued Wednesday by Oregon’s state treasurer claims that funding assumptions for the proposed Columbia River Crossing are based on outdated data. Treasurer Ted Wheeler’s report added that bridge planners are over-optimistic in the amount of tolls they expect the bridge to generate once the span linking Oregon and Washington is built.
