Leadership summit: Kitzhaber 'optimistic' about Oregon

It was a far more optimistic John Kitzhaber who addressed the Oregon Business Plan Summit Monday than the one who spoke at the same event a year ago.

“I remain extraordinarily optimistic about Oregon’s future,” the governor told nearly 1,000 business, government and civic officials who gathered Monday for the annual Business Plan summit, held at the Oregon Convention Center.
