'Shut your mouth!': Rude voice in Legislature echoes growing incivility

Carolyn Tomei: Let's make it clear: Personal attacks and lapses of civility have no place in our public discourse. We will engage in spirited debate without tumbling into the abyss of negativity. No political opponents, no matter their age, no matter their gender, will be shouted down or intimidated, because we as Oregonians will not tolerate it. We demand better.
